Dr. Lennox obtained his Masters and Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School and his Doctoral Dissertation, Astrology and Personality, is published by Lambert Academic Publishing. Dr. Lennox is also the author of two books on dreams, Dream Sight: A Dictionary & Guide for Interpreting Any Dream and Llewellyn’s Complete Dream Dictionary. Update on Nic Whitam
As a most recent update from Nic: Banyan Retreat closed due to Covid and Steven and I now live in the north-west of England. We are semi-retired although we still host SoulQuest each Sunday and I continue to work for the Spiritual Truth Foundation promoting the teachings of Silver Birch. I will be hosting a few online lectures on the History of Mediumship and Healing a little later this year but other than that we live a very quiet life in rural England.

Teresa is a Journeywoman of the sacred. Her life has been filled with a deep curiosity and desire to re-member herself and others back to wholeness.  Through study, story, time with nature, ritual and practice she has braided a basket of tools that she pulls from in her work as an ordained Minister of Walking Prayer with the Center for Sacred Studies and her almost 2 decades as an integrative bodyworker. As a mother and householder, she utilizes her tools of daily and seasonal ritual to bring her back into the magic and luminosity of the ‘ordinary’. As long as she takes breath, her basket will continue to grow, as will her desire to assist in bringing people deeper into their whole heart.

#196 The Importance of Finding Wonder in All With Lacy Borgo

Lacy Finn Borgo teaches and provides spiritual direction for the Renovaré Institute and the Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Direction at Fuller Theological Seminary, as well as other retreats and conferences. She is the author of Life with God for Children, a curriculum for spiritual formation with children. She is the coauthor of Good Dirt: A Devotional for the Spiritual Formation of Families, which is built around the Seasons of the Church.

Lacy also provides spiritual direction for children and their parents at Haven House, which is a transitional housing facility for homeless families.

Lacy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Teaching Certificate from University of Texas, Permian Basin, a Masters of Science in Education from State University, New York, and is a graduate of the Renovaré Institute for Christian Spiritual Formation. She recently graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from Portland Seminary, formerly known as George Fox Evangelical Seminary.

Her family includes two teenaged daughters, one husband, two parents, four dogs, six cats, five goats, two horses, and numerous chickens all within a quarter mile radius. She says, “My greatest joy and honor is to walk with others as they seek to walk with God. Sometimes that looks like teaching or leading retreats, other times it looks like spiritual direction but mostly it looks like friendship.”

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Lacy Borgo back to the show today. Lacy shares her insights and viewpoint on the importance of embracing wonder and remaining in touch with our profound humanity, welcoming all our experiences, even the challenging and painful ones.

#195 Reclaiming Innocence by Embracing the Golden Rule With Rev. Carol Saunders

Rev. Carol Saunders bio:

For those who are curious, here is a brief synopsis of who I am. Like many life roads, mine has been one of interesting turns, ultimately bringing me to today. My educational background is in engineering. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and worked for 20 years in the energy business in Houston, Texas. I always admired the perfection of mathematics and the discovery of science, but the engineering field didn’t entirely suit me. As a young adult I found myself exploring all sorts of interesting endeavors on my own and eventually awakened to the Unity movement in 1997.

I am a Licensed Unity teacher, an ordained Interfaith minister and ordained Unity minister. After founding and leading a church for seven years, Spirit guided me to create something completely new. Together with those who were journeying with me, we boldly threw out the church model and focused on creating an alternative to church that included the message, the world and God in the midst. That was the start of The Spiritual Forum. In 134 episodes covering a broad spectrum of spiritual topics, we brought our authentic dialogue on spiritual living to the world via podcast.

Guided again by Spirit in 2021, I shifted The Spiritual Forum to a new format — conversations on spiritual living with guests. These are interesting conversations about personal experiences of the Divine, transformation and healing (including shadow work), the spiritual nature of world events, Ahimsa, and the great awakening of humanity from layers of programming and cultural conditioning. Ultimately, I hope they inspire people to seek/continue their own healing/awakening path and bring hope to the world. Also in 2021, I began leading an annual Whole Planet Spirituality Forum & Retreat at Unity Village.

On the personal side, I have been married to my husband, Greg Harbaugh, since 1981 and together we have three adult daughters. Greg is a former NASA shuttle astronaut which provided our family so many interesting life experiences. He has supported me fully in every one of my life endeavors, from getting my pilot’s license to bringing home puppies and stray cats/kittens to starting new ministries. We enjoy our home and property in rural Wisconsin, particularly the ever changing wildlife and our menagerie of dogs and cats. I also have a blog site – wolfandthelamb.com – to awaken the spiritually minded to include ALL sentient beings in our circle of Compassion.

As a minister and co-creator with Spirit, I have experienced the joy of authentic creativity and the honor of making a profound difference in people’s lives. I have learned to love and forgive myself, to trust Spirit, and to look for the Good always as I venture toward the complete unfoldment of my humanity and divinity.

In this unique episode featuring Rev. Carol Saunders, we delve into the topic of dismantling the cultural influences that can sometimes alienate us from our inherent innocence. We explore the path to reclaiming this innocence by embracing the practice of the golden rule: treating others as we would like to be treated. Carol explains that by embracing this principle, we can discover the art of transforming all energy into love.
